I was stuck here in the trial of mind for 2 hours, with an average attribute of 30-40, but I could only get third place. The gaming experience is very bad.
damn this game is great but is also goddamn hard. I was tryingg to go for Lily route and managed to see 4 scenes and do the festival with her, but im not sure if there are more that i missed or if its just that for now. Anyway, great game i'll keep trying to defeat the trial!
Sorry, I don't really know how to help. It is running fine for me. Maybe some issues with your antivirus or something? Does it give you any specific error?
Sadly no, it's like it just refuses to start at all. With Admin Mode i at least get the promt but nothing happens. Also tried it with deactiveted AV but same results :/ Does it need some kind of programm? Java, Python something like that that might not be natively on a windows pc (or that i might have removed exidentaly with on of my cleanings?)
Edit: So, i redownloaded it for the 3rd time and somhow it does start now?... ANd it generated a log saying it handled a loading error but no further details about it as far as i can interpret it (not a coder :D)
No, as long as you download the correct version (the PC one), and extracted the archive, it should have everything you need to run the game as far as I know. Sorry, I am not sure how to help you...
Show me the error message. I doubt that it'll help, but maybe
Keep up the good works! Do you inspire yourself from some other game? If yes do you have any game you can recommend with a similar gameplay as yours? Not specifically adult game. I really like that gameplay of just a chill story, attending classes, managing free times,...
The main gameplay inspiration came from an old game called "True Love" (True Love 95). It is much simpler, shorter, and doesn't have an overarching plot aside from "need to get a girl", but it has basically the same gameplay loop. You can give it a try, but be warned, it is a 30yo game.
Though not really the same, you can also look into Princess Maker 2, another old classic with day-to-day activity management.
So is there a possibility the player would be able to not advance into any of the girls' questline and/or piss them off in any sort that they'd refuse to express their feelings? I'm just wondering this, as due to the Samhain event, hanging out with Eric is the default option by the looks of it, with the other girls' whom you've progressed in their questlines. This had me thinking, as from what I understand, if a person just rested, they'd be able to completely avoid, or attempt to, advancing into any of their questlines. If one kept this up, what would happen in the end?
Can't help but feel like I can't accomplish anything if I'm trying to split my focus between three skills.
What's the recommended skill-set before going into exams and the trial of the mind?
I was quite literally stonewalled even though Knowledge was one of the three I was raising the whole time.
I guess going into it the first playthrough I didn't really know what to expect, and it seems like most solutions will need one *super* focused stat, and having your time split between too many just makes you entirely useless... Specifically I was at 35-37 for knowledge, spellcasting, and prowess.
I literally only managed to get through the second door, because knowledge wasn't high enough, but I brute forced it eventually. (as in, spammed the option over an over, not the actual "brute force" option it gave to blast the doors.)
I myself find doing Magic Theory every day as being the best for getting knowledge. Usually gives 1 every time. While you can make up for your other stats if you focus on studying with other classes. I myself don't suggest dueling practise or the other classes which give multiple points, as them giving you some aren't guaranteed. I found grinding knowledge makes the exam a breeze and the trial of mind too (especially if animal form is bought), where other stats can be focused on at the expense of knowledge. But that's just how I went with it
It is really a question of playstyle and perception. If you focus on just one skill, you will start getting good at those specific tasks sooner, but will struggle as soon as a new challenge arises. If you generalize - you will struggle with most tasks at first, but will likely experience a huge boost once all (or most) of your stats get better at the same time. It is really up to you.
As for the Trial. It is more about knowing what to do and understanding your strength. You can steamroll the Trial if you train correctly. But with perfect understanding of the Trial's mechanics and some luck, you can get second place even with base stats.
Just seems like if you want to do any form of generalist style play, you're going to completely bomb the first trial.
I'm not new to management games, but it definitely feels like you really do need to hard-grind one stat.
Unless bombing the trials is just inconsequential, which it seems to be counter-intuitive going into games like this, that you should be bombing trials lol.
Even though losing the first Trial is not inconsequential, winning it is also not necessary. As for stats, though the Trial is difficult, you don't really need high stats to beat it if you know exactly what you are doing. Or you can just steamroll it with high enough stats.
Just sort of wondering what numerical value of skill you should roughly be at by that point.
I couldn't get through the first two doors with any of the options. Only by just spamming the knowledge challenge option could I brute force through eventually by I guess getting lucky enough on whatever hidden RNG was going on behind the scenes to let me through. That's how I got through both first two doors, and then just lost on the third.
If you know exactly what to do, with a tiny bit of luck, you can get the first place with stats no higher than 30. Anything higher than that just makes the Trial more consistent
I mean, then I must've really really really missed something completely, because I used all the options available and they either just failed directly, or didn't do anything for me, leaving me to just have to spam the option that seemed most likely to work for me (thinking through the puzzle) over and over and over and over uncountable times till it worked.
I hope we can have something to keep track of events like "Quests" or "Storyline", over all it was great playing this, Just got a bit Pissed off because even tho my knowledge and imagination was at 30+, still couldn't even reach second place in the Trial of Mind, Can't wait For Future Update
KEEP IT COMING!!
(I also wanna know which trait should I pick to get an upper hand?(e.g. Athletic, Smart, etc.)
Thank you! I am really happy to hear you enjoy the game. More is definitely to come! It would mean a lot if you would rate the game too, it really helps =D
As for traits, they each have their own benefits and downsides, so it is really more about what you are planning to do in the beginning, and less about your late-game =)
Though neither of those will help you actually dominate either of the challenges, Smart will definitely help during exams. Both Smart and Creative might help during the Trial of Mind, but it really depends on your build more than on starting traits and Houses
I need so much a walkthrough, there is so much to explore, I don't know if I have seen it all or not, I have played the game like 6 times already, and I'm not sure if I've seen everithing, uhs game is so good, pls keep updating
The game has a lot of potential! The story is kind of similar to Harry Potter I guess that was your inspiration but the story is great! You should also add a way to navigate the events like where should the MC go to trigger a specific event, and also a gallery too. Keep it up 🤝💪
Thank you! I am not sure what you mean by navigation to events. But I want to keep the handholding to the minimum. I want the players to discover events themselves, not told where to go.
As for the gallery - yep, that the plan eventually 😁
Im liking this game alot i think i put 3-4 hours in yesterday and another hour today messing about checking all the girls i could find doing diffrent stats to see what went on. I liked the classes and skill system, and the interactions with the girls I could see, I do hope in a future soonish update we'll get a menu so we can better see who all is available and mabye some stats like how many events we've seen as was somewhat confusing as to what progress I was at, I assume Eric talking about your interactions with a girl kinda tells you where your at or choice of if your going down that route so anyway can't wait for next updates. Definitely gonna head over to patreon to sup as I've become minorly obsessed. There was more but I forgot may post later, once again really enjoyed can't wait to see more!
That's so nice to here, XXBloodyNinja! We are happy to hear you liking the game =) The menu you talk about is actually next on my "to do" list, not sure how soon it will come, but it won't be very long =)
I remember a bit of what else I wanted to add, after talking to some friends about the game a bit. I wanted to mention how I really liked the trial of the mind, on my first playthrough I failed rather spectacularly, which is as to be expected, on the second time I made some mistakes but figured out when you had enough skill you could take options multiple times to possibly get through and got much further so that on the third playthrough I made it to within 2 doors of seconds place so I reloaded and managed to take second place by 1 door and that was quite thee elation to get. Then yesterday I played through with diffrent stats to see how getting through with better strength worked and I liked the opportunity to get through parts in diffrent ways.
I must say, for a demo this game is decent. Not personally my cup of tea(between the only saving from your bedroom and general lack of lewd/suggestive scenes so far)but it's well made. My question however is, is there any current or planned lewd content for violet, or the Egyptian champion?
On the calendar, full moons are noted on it. Why? Does the spell that Eric performed onto the MC will have an effect dependent on the phase of the Moon? Or is it part of some feature for the future?
It is not connected to the spell. But it both already have in-game effects (you can experiment and explore to find them), and it will get more uses in the future updates.
For 'What's Coming Soon', it's mentioned that a collectiable trading card system will be added. May I please get further elaboration on what it'd involve?
Nothing too big. Just a gallery of cards with artworks that you can find in the various parts of the game. Buy in stores, get during certain events, etc.
When the Main Character has a high enough knowledge stat, and aren't tired, they score around the top 3 (5??) for the exams. The Main Character is stated to be just below Percival, meaning he is either first place or second place. My question is, who is the remaining person in the top three? Or rather, which character makes the most sense? Elisabeth is stated to be one of the smartest and most ambitious characters, with her aspiring to head to Athens. While Violet, in every interaction she's in is either with a book, reading a book, or has just finished a book to grab another one. Possibly implying she's very smart/knows a lot. Meaning out of the evidence in game, it'd be either one.
You got it a bit wrong. You are either third OR just below Percy (i.e. second). Percy is the top scorer in your year. Elizabeth is a year ahead of you, and Violet is a year below, so their positions are not taken into account.
I love the game! However, there is one gripe about it that I have: The requirements to do well at certain things are way too high. For example, even with 58 knowledge, ignoring all my other stats, will not net me a good score at the exams, and I'm unsure how I'm supposed to do well at the challenges! Other than that, I really do love this game and hope to play the full version eventually!
So happy to hear that you are enjoying the game! It is ok to not be able to do everything. We are still tweaking things, but it is our vision that a player should not be good at everything, especially at the very beginning =)
Going for the lucky and strategist nets you nine knowledge at the start, while focusing on magic history and brewing adds to your knowlege, while also you can blitz on just studying for the entire demo, or for most of it, with being mid 80s - low 90s being achievablefrom what I've seen.
Well, we needed the school to be located in the British isles for the British-style school system to make sense. But that was a relatively minor thing. What was not a minor thing, was that we wanted our school to make sense in-universe. With how many myths and magical legends go around the world - a lot of things from wizard world seeps in into the normie world. Distorted as it may be. A school with hundreds of students? Standing for hundreds of years? There has got to be at least some myths and legends about it. And it had to be something relatively major. Somebody got to have noticed. Some rumors got to have slipped past the charms. So, "Tir na nOg" was the perfect candidate. Children disappearing for some reason and returning back after several years? They must've been spirited away by fairies. Some normies vaguely remembering getting lost in a place full of magic called "Tir na nOg", etc. It just fits. And the fact that "Tir na nOg" translates to the "Land of Young/Youth", which is a very fitting description for a school, was just a cherry on top. So Ireland was just a perfect fit no matter how many times you slice it.
Shortly after the Trial of the Mind was completed, just doing normal studying and such. Got "An exception has occurred." saying "While running game code: ScriptError: could not find label 'tutor_job_find'. Couldn't send screenshot here apparently, but that's what it said. Unable to continue playing at this moment. There was also a moment when studying in the library and helping the girl there moving a big book. Right before going to move the book it also gave a similar error.
How many spells are there currently? So far, I've discovered 'Animal Form' (iirc that is the name), and teleportation.
To which, I think I may've discovered a bug, I'm not the most certain. While I was playing through from a fresh start, while studying, or maybe after beastology, the game said animal form was learnt, but when I went to practise spells, the game then talked about teleportation. Not sure if I may've missed a line or two, but I just thought I should note it.
Honestly, I have no idea, since I have not explored the market yet. I would think that somewhere between 10 and 20 dollars. To be fair, I am also still contemplating the idea of having the game itself be free if we will have enough funding from Patreon and the like, and just have paid accessories like soundtrack, artbook and maybe DLCs (if we get that far)
I might be looking into it way too deeply, but how far was the effects of the spell that Eric casted onto the Main Character at the start? The game does repeatedly discuss love spells/potions. Where Eric states that due to the spell, it is why various events have changed, where a student lost something, to the Main Character even becoming the school's Champion. Does that at all imply that the psychology of the students was affected. In capacity? I'd assume not. As Elisabeth states that one of the Professors "compliments" the main character, yet sees them as lost potential. So seemingly that might be evidence that it didn't really effect anything else. Only the circumstances of what has happened to aid the Main Character. Another interesting thing to note is that seemingly, the spell casted by Eric also made some sort of ward around the Main Character, where other similar spells cannot affect him. (Tho' the demo ended right after, so not sure there if there may've been additional dialogue I missed out on.) It does of course raise some interesting implications and questions. My main one being:
Will the love spell casted by Eric be further explored? Or is its purpose to act as a plot device to get the plot flowing and stopping right there?
It will be explored a bit more in a couple of story threads, but not very deeply. The bottom line is, that the spell does not affect any person or the events in particular, it just helps the MC by slightly rearranging the situation around him to help him get his act together and giving him more opportunities to capitalize on. And also, in a way, you as a player act as a proxy for the spell. Helping him achieve things he would not normally be able to.
I’m liking the look of this, but I have a question. Is there any body modification in the game? Like expansion or whatnot? It’s obviously not necessary of you don’t want to include that, I just think that even a bit of a small spell that just changes the models could be a nice addition. Nothing that would really affect the story. Something like this just tends to fit so well with most magic games like this.
I am afraid I would need more info than that to help you, because no one has encountered this issue before. What system are you on? A screenshot would help too
Great to hear that you are enjoying the game! Just explore and take your time. You'll find them. If you are completely lost and need some hints, Divination can help a bit
Elizabeth IS THE BEST! (From the nerd who has drunk the love elixir:P)
I'm really super in love with this game, good tableaux plus exquisite graphics, I have a feeling it can be a masterpiece, can't wait to experience more!
It would be nice to see the exact numerical requirements on the options, but if you guys are hiding it on purpose, forget I said anything.
I love this game so much, I wish I could do something to help you guys, like Chineseize the game. Unfortunately, if I help you guys make the game's Chinese text (even if it's unpaid with love), I'll probably still face jail time, which is a shame.
But maybe I can do some coaching on your Chinese skills, or help check if the Chinese translation is smooth and fluent, which is not directly related to making the game, but just a friendly international exchange, right?
If you guys are motivated to add Chinese to your work, please let me know, I'd be happy to help out out of love for this work!
BTW, found a bug where the game reports an error when Elizabeth asks you to help her get something from the Potions teacher's cabinet if you choose to pick herbs by luck.
You can't interact with them unprompted, it's all scripted events for now. It seems to be tied to stat totals for the most part, say you want to get to know Elizabeth or Violet better, you'd have to upgrade Knowledge like mad and choose to study in your free time.
So ive collected the best beginnings so far and its like
1) warrior family+ smart
2) cunning leader + lucky
3) lucky strategist
4) lucky merchant
If anyone knows any better built at the start tell me please, Bc wrote all of the stats at the beginning and then analyzed them and stuff and cane up with this I recommend picking (2) Bc the stats are like
1= (5,8,7,8,5,100,137)
2=(7,6,6,6,8,100,137)
3= (5,9,6,6,7,100,137)
4= (8,6,8,6,5,100,137)
The stats numbers refer to (first to last)
Appeal: charm
Knowledge : effect on spellcasting
Imagination: creativity and the ability to solve problems in an unorthodox way
Prowess: strength, agility, courage of using your powers
SP: raw magic power and ability to cast strong spells
Sorry if that sounded a bit callous, her health comes first obviously. Just too damn excited I guess, game's scratching an itch I didn't know was there 'til now.

Yes, all the girls only have for story events for now. Some of them do appear in some side events, so I don't know if you counted that.
Hi, I downloaded the latest version but it's not starting.
Tried also Admin Mode but it's not even comming upo in the Task Manager.

Yeah, as expected, this doesn't say anything at all. The only thing I can recommend is the usual:
1. Ensure you have the latest Visual C++ Redistributable.
2. Update your GPU drivers
3. Try disabling your antivirus
4. Try compatability mode
5. Try another device
Really nice game. Took me a while but I managed to achieve first on the trial of mind!
Thanks! And congrats! Not many people get that far =D

Yes, you can theoretically either completely avoid or ruin all of the relationships. What will happen then? Well, you'll have to find out ;)

THIS WAS INCREDIBLY FUN!
As for traits, they each have their own benefits and downsides, so it is really more about what you are planning to do in the beginning, and less about your late-game =)
then may I have a trait and home recommendation to completely dominate the exams and the trial of mind? Thank you so Much and I WILL rate the game
Though neither of those will help you actually dominate either of the challenges, Smart will definitely help during exams. Both Smart and Creative might help during the Trial of Mind, but it really depends on your build more than on starting traits and Houses
What Character Trait and Home is best to Get an Uperhand in the future coming of Trial of Might? I wanna be on the mighty side you know?

I have seen this game for quite a time and the artwork made me wanted to play it but never got the feeling to download it (idk why)
so i will try the game and it's finally good to see a game with HAND DRAW cg instead of ia 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Well, I hope y you'll like it 😁
Hey where the android apk?
I was just re-uploading it for a quick hotfix =D You caught the 30 seconds that it was down =D
Got it
I need so much a walkthrough, there is so much to explore, I don't know if I have seen it all or not, I have played the game like 6 times already, and I'm not sure if I've seen everithing, uhs game is so good, pls keep updating
found anything yet?
How do you save on the android version because i cant find the save button.
There should be a save button in the bottom right corner in your room
Oh ok I didn't get that far before asking because I didn't want to lose to much progress so thanks for letting me know.
Hmm that's a good thing but atleast a bar representing the events left for a specific girl or something it's just a suggestion thou.
That's good to know I am looking forward to new updates now!! 🤝
I found this game from "Ilias" suggestion and demmm this game looks amazing too and imma play it now 🤝 🤝
Welcome to the party! Hope you'll like it 😁
Thanks! Sure will!! 🤝
We are happy to hear you liking the game =) The menu you talk about is actually next on my "to do" list, not sure how soon it will come, but it won't be very long =)
Ok, very cool, 👌

Lamentablemente, no. No tenemos a nadie que pueda hacerlo. Pero planeamos hacerlo en algún momento.
Harry Potter: The Game
Does this game have any erotic or pornographic scenes? Or is it just a romance novel?
Right now it has a couple of ecchi and one erotic scene. More will come in the future updates. Though the game does focus more on romance
I must say, for a demo this game is decent. Not personally my cup of tea(between the only saving from your bedroom and general lack of lewd/suggestive scenes so far)but it's well made. My question however is, is there any current or planned lewd content for violet, or the Egyptian champion?
Yep, both Violet and Bassant will both have lewd content eventually
So just wondering.
Ah, that actually makes a lot of sense! I'll be sure to keep that in mind then, thank you!
Going for the lucky and strategist nets you nine knowledge at the start, while focusing on magic history and brewing adds to your knowlege, while also you can blitz on just studying for the entire demo, or for most of it, with being mid 80s - low 90s being achievablefrom what I've seen.
Why was Ireland chosen as the country where the game takes place in? Any specific reason?
Thank you for reporting. Both of these issues will be fixed in the next update.
That would be fantastic. Otherwise I enjoyed the game.
Oh, yeah, found it. Fixed it. The text actually talks about teleportation when you practice animal form. That's just text issue though.
Forgot to answer your original question. Only two spells so far. I am planning on adding two more in the near future
When more spells are added, will some be mutually exclusive? Where you can only learn a certain amount of them?
No, you can always learn all of them. Of course, the more you learn, the harder it becomes to master all of them.
Is there any set idea for how much the game will cost once it is fully finished?
Honestly, I have no idea, since I have not explored the market yet. I would think that somewhere between 10 and 20 dollars. To be fair, I am also still contemplating the idea of having the game itself be free if we will have enough funding from Patreon and the like, and just have paid accessories like soundtrack, artbook and maybe DLCs (if we get that far)
Who composed the soundtrack? Is ever bit of it original?
It is a completely original soundtrack. Written by this awesome guy https://www.patreon.com/FxxxKuro
(Tho' the demo ended right after, so not sure there if there may've been additional dialogue I missed out on.)
It does of course raise some interesting implications and questions.
Planning to play this soon, thanks.
I can't press continue on the Choose your language screen.
I am afraid I would need more info than that to help you, because no one has encountered this issue before. What system are you on? A screenshot would help too
I really like the way the game is, but I don't understand which free time options to choose for each girl to appear
Great to hear that you are enjoying the game! Just explore and take your time. You'll find them. If you are completely lost and need some hints, Divination can help a bit
I played the game demo and it's awesome!
Thank you for both high praise and the bug report! I will look into it 👍
I played the game and it's really fun.
I didn't manage any significant progress by the time the demo ended and I can't find any information about how and when to interact with the girls.
Are the events with the girls random orbdo they follow a time pattern?
Also, how to interact with them on purpose?
You can't interact with them unprompted, it's all scripted events for now. It seems to be tied to stat totals for the most part, say you want to get to know Elizabeth or Violet better, you'd have to upgrade Knowledge like mad and choose to study in your free time.
So ive collected the best beginnings so far and its like
1) warrior family+ smart
2) cunning leader + lucky
3) lucky strategist
4) lucky merchant
If anyone knows any better built at the start tell me please, Bc wrote all of the stats at the beginning and then analyzed them and stuff and cane up with this I recommend picking (2) Bc the stats are like
1= (5,8,7,8,5,100,137)
2=(7,6,6,6,8,100,137)
3= (5,9,6,6,7,100,137)
4= (8,6,8,6,5,100,137)
St: stamina
That's it
♫♫ I put a spell on you, because you're mine! ♫♫
Love what y'all have put together so far, here's hoping Shady 2 feels better soon, can't wait to see what comes next.
Thank you! Glad you are enjoying the game 😁
Sorry if that sounded a bit callous, her health comes first obviously. Just too damn excited I guess, game's scratching an itch I didn't know was there 'til now.
No, don't worry, we understood your sentiment 😊
I seem to be a few missing files on the android version. The great hall and the town so far. Is this common or an installation error?
No, that's ok. They are missing for everyone. We only finished adding all of the placeholder backgrounds in the Patreon version
