I think this game is like a few steps away from something really interesting, visually it's great, even with a lot of placeholder backgrounds, theres an amazing vision you can see. It just lacks variety in playstyles and random events throughout the story in between what is essentially calendar planning. it feels like (for now anyways) whatever stats you choose to boost or focus on, maybe 2-3 seem really important. It also needs a bit of audio work (more music, sound effets). But I'm very curious to see how this will update.
Any chance of a femme PC option? Even a pre/non-op trans fem option to reduce the amount of effort needed to adjust existing content/assets would be great.
So, I was playing through the game and got a notification saying "This is it for the DEMO", is there a full version that I'm not seeing/isn't downloaded here or is that it for the current version?
Because I thought I would at least go through the second round of exams.
Atrophy on my Knowledge became a real problem after the Trail of the Mind, but I at least managed to keep it where I had it.
Didnt learn Shapechange spell, did learn Teleportation and Levitation.
I think i finished the Violet path, she is best gurl.
I deliberately avoided Elisabeths path, but I did see her struggling with the rival guy (Percival?)
Again didnt see any other girls that seemed like Love Interests.
I had the Lucky Clover, the Dueling Gloves and the Superior Wand. Didn't worry about the rest as they relate to stats Im either avoiding or just want to keep at the same level.
Very pretty art but I didnt enjoy it as much as I hoped. You see I wanted to win the first part of the tournament and it seems to be nearly impossible to do. I specialized in knowledge and spellpower and still couldnt win, ending up in last place.
I dont know if its meant to be that way or i just suck at this game. Either way, very frustrating.
Its meant to be a test of knowledge, so why is knowledge such a weak component in it? shouldnt a high knowledge be extremely valuable during a test of knowledge?
Just to be clear I had over 50 knowledge and nearly as much spellpower. i had a little bit of imagination too. i pretty much ignored charisma and prowess.
The atrophy rate is way too fast too. people dont turn into slugs after a few weeks...

When it comes to meeting the cast, you have to do the extracurricular things - studying, mingling, training, etc. You aren't guaranteed to meet a girl and get her respective event through it every time, but if you do it enough, like for studying, you'll meet Elisabeth and Violet, and go through their respective event lines. While when it comes to the trial, what were you doing? Trying to brute force? For stats like spellpower iirc, you could use animal form to skip a part, while if you want to at least meet two of the girls and pass, just max out knowledge, if you read the options, and can deduce which one accompany's the knowledge stat, you'll be able to breeze through it as first place and the exams.
I didnt see any option to use animal form. I played it some time ago.
I remember there being a animal form spell in my latest playthrough but nothing for its use during the test. So there was no choice but to stumble about trying to 'brute force' my way through.
Of course I used the option I thought most likely to use Knowledge or Spellpower. I still failed 2 or 3 times before id be allowed to pass, even with 50 knowledge.

Animal form can be one of the items you get by buying the 'books from america' from the store. I got it up to some high level after practising with spellpower and intelligence in my free time, which, for some of the options, gave the option to use it
Hi, thank you for the review. The game is definitely not meant to be just breezed through, and exploration and experimentation is important.
As for the Trials, they are intended as difficult challenges, requiring either good understanding of the trial OR very high stats. First place is very attainable with stats around 30s if you know exactly what to do. But winning is not necessary anyway and failing certain tests might bring rewards of its own.
As I said I'm pretty sure I had around 50 in Knowledge. Still came in last.
I guess I just suck?
As far as I can see there's nothing to understand about the trail... you click on an option, you fail, you either try again and again until you pass or you go another way and you fail there too.
Meanwhile the two other champions breeze their way through it, but then they have been training for it for the whole year i assume.

За русский язык отдельный +, но вообще для расширения аудитории я бы прогнал переводы через нейронку на другие языки (ну повесишь ты плашку, что перевод ИИ, это не отпугивает игроков так, как отпугивает отсутствие перевода). Во 100 раз лучше, когда хотя бы такой перевод в игре есть, переводить с экрана или самому - тот ещё гемор, а тебе буквально открыл <вставьте название любимой языковой модели> -> закинул два файла -> сказал мне на (условно: китайский, испанский и т. д.) -> закинул файлы в папку переводов -> пару строчек кода на кнопки и вуаля. Потом может комьюнити подтянется и будет за тебя переводы править, главное чтобы было комьюнити.
Хз, мне казалось, довольно сносно. Но справедливости ради, я над таким особо не работал. Возможно, какие-то специализированные, типа DeepL, справятся, по моделям можно Gemini 3 Pro скормить (главное промта накидать поверх, чтобы не бредил). Но это всё догадки. Перепроверял я бы через нейронки в обратную сторону. Профессионального перевода и так и так не будет. Делай как чувствуешь.

I feel stupid, I misread: "New artwork for Violet's fifth event" as Violet's next event being added. I made a new save, played until I reached the end, continuously Studying trying to get it. No regrets however, super fun.

There are seven girls with some of their storylines completed (eight on patreon), and the one with the most of her story completed right now is Violet. None of the girls are fully done for now though.
Oh, ok, actually, i like the detail that if you dont do something (Like explore) for too much, that thing will decrease, i actually hope that this game got complete, because this is the only one that is good for me (There are others, but yk)

What is the creature depicted on your profile, Shady Characters? I, at first, assumed it was a cat, but with further investigation, I see no paw, ear, and instead, an odd-shapped figure.
Ok, I enjoyed the game and I have a small doubt: how does the extra spells work? Same with the update.
I ask because I am afraid of having to replay everything just to see if I can get everything, like if I already had the requirements to unlock something but I didn't because it was at an specific date.
I have other doubts with stuff like "luck" and what feels to be secret stats (like empathy for animals) and I can't figure out what is the criteria to unlock the cutscenes with the girls, I guess Violet is the easiest one since you only have to study and most likely it will be in the library, but I can't figure out the other ones (except the one were the diary says she will accept you while studying on the afternoon) and, personally, I don't know if I missed something.
The extra spells give you special option at some events and during trials. Usually better than normal options. Some of them open events specific to the spell.
i had a great deal of fun with this game, and i look forward to seeing more of it! i like the writing, even if the grammar is sometimes a little clunky, and i adore the character designs. Violet is my favourite!

So I have decided to restart the game with a singular goal:
Winning the tournament.
I am specializing in Knowledge and Spellpower, nothing in anything else until after the first trial.
The only classes im going to study are Dueling and Magic Theory and the only Free time im going to do are Study and Practice Spells.
I wont bother chasing after girls, all I want is to win the tournament.
Ill let you know how it works out.
Ok So I won the trial. Still wasn't easy.
Final tallies on stats just after the Trial of the Mind:
Appeal 6, Knowledge 71, Imagination 5, Prowess 14, Spell power 61.
I did buy the improved Wand just after getting the extra money from the MCs family.
I saw no shapechange spell, didnt need it to win.
Next ill concentrate on Prowess and Spellpower, just keeping my knowledge from atrophy. Btw i noticed atrophy rates seem way down now.
Thats great.

I usually got my Knowledge stat to around 80 at its lowest when the trial came, it made every accompyning door which needed that stat simple

Make sure you are saving on the Page 1...9 screens, and not on "Automatic saves" screen

That's how far Gwen's story goes for now, yes
100 is the maximum value of all the stats, it doesn't go any higher.
